  6. This article is not meant neither to be 
  7. a report  on  whats  going  on  in  the 
  8. ex-yougaslavia, nor  to  judge  who  is 
  9. responsible of what happens,  but  it's
  10. just a very personal  reaction  to what 
  11. happens at a few  hundred kilometers of 
  12. my hometown.

  14. There is not any  single tv mag without 
  15. a report of this internal struggle. How 
  16. long will it last? As long as there  is 
  17. a demand for such reports? As  long  as 
  18. there is a battle?  Every  day  we hear 
  19. the same things,every  day  they  speak 
  20. about helping those people,but in  fact 
  21. they see nothing come. I just  want  to 
  22. make you feel that there is  nothing to 
  23. protect in Yougoslavia, there is no pe-
  24. trol, so there is no money  to  win, so
  25. no reason to help those  people. Remem-
  26. ber that it didn't take so long to give 
  27. a helping  hand  to  Kuwait. There  was 
  28. money to  win. In yougoslavia there are
  29. just child  dying and this seems not to 
  30. be  so  important. Have  you seen those 
  31. little  kids,  shot  by  the  snippers, 
  32. crying because the doctors have nothing 
  33. to calm their pain? I guess all the po-
  34. litics saw it too,  but  there  are  no 
  35. reactions. They  just  tell   everybody 
  36. that they will  soon  meet  to  know if 
  37. there is a need  to help or not. I just 
  38. want to remind you that our french pre-
  39. sident Mitterand,  took  the  plane  to 
  40. Yougoslavia to show  he  wanted to help 
  41. them. But  it  was  just  made  for his 
  42. image and  there was nothing behind it. 
  43. For example  he told to the other euro-
  44. pean countries to  take  the  refugies, 
  45. but in the same  time  he  refused some 
  46. yougoslavian refugies. Quite  a strange 
  47. attitude, isn't it? Some  fucking  bas-
  48. tards  are  yelling  that  yougoslavia, 
  49. gave  in the past a world war, and this 
  50. is  a reason not to help. And this opi-
  51. nion got stronger at the beginning when 
  52. France supported the Serbes and Germany 
  53. the Croates. Some good  thinking  guys,
  54. meant that a new world  war was coming. 
  55. Now both  countries  seem  to take part 
  56. for Croatia, and  as  far  as I know no 
  57. war begun. No one wants to  do a single 
  58. thing, just let them die. What  to  say 
  59. about the Usa's  attitude.  The  single 
  60. interest came from Bush who is actually 
  61. in a deep shit,  as  he  will  probably 
  62. loose the  elections.  So  he  told  he 
  63. would ask  his  government  if  it  was 
  64. worth helping. It seems it isn't as Usa 
  65. didn't move a single finger. Bush found 
  66. something better then  yougoslavia  and 
  67. it's called  playing  with  Saddam Hus-
  68. sein. After the second world war every-
  69. one said if only we had known it before
  70. we would have made something. Well  the 
  71. way of informing the people  weren't as 
  72. good as now, so let's  think  positive, 
  73. and dream they  would  have moved their 
  74. asses. But nowadays we know, we see the 
  75. horror  everyday  and  we  still  don't 
  76. move. Politicians  say  that Maastricht 
  77. election will perhaps be a way to solve 
  78. the problem. But  are  those women, men 
  79. and  children  in  yougoslavia, able to 
  80. wait  so  long ? This  is  in fact just 
  81. what happens more or less, and  if  you 
  82. are asking what we can do,  the  answer 
  83. is nearly nothing. The point is that if 
  84. we elected guys to lead  our  countries 
  85. it's their role to act. And  if  the go
  86. vernment doesn't  move,  then  this  is 
  87. perhaps  because  nobody  wants  it. So 
  88. just let them die. This  won't  prevent 
  89. me from sleeping for  sure, but it's so 
  90. strange to know that here everything is 
  91. allright and just at  2 hours by plane, 
  92. kids  are  dying, and  will  never know 
  93. what a computer is.

  95. To finish with this personal  reaction, 
  96. I would say that we  are  living  in  a 
  97. strange world, where  live  of  a human 
  98. being just is worth if  he  has  money. 
  99. Else if there no interest in him or his 
  100. country then there  no  reason  to save 
  101. him. Lets dream it'll soon change  in a 
  102. positive way...
